My Story.........

My name is Frank Schneemann and I am the most senior teacher in the Sweetwater District.

In 1974 I began my career at Southwest Junior High. Coming from Philadelphia I had no experience working with Hispanic students so I had a lot to learn about Hispanic culture. What I learned opened my mind and heart to Hispanic culture. It was as though I had joined a new family. I have many warm memories about my experience working with the kids at Southwest Middle. They continue to warm my heart, even after fifty years of teaching.

Open your mind and heart to the Hispanic community and you will find, as I did, that you have joined a new family who will always be there for you when you need them.
