Many Hispanics were a big part of shaping America a great nation. Cesar Chavez is a Hispanic who led the first successful farm workers union in American history that helped the Hispanic community gain achieving dignity, respect, fair wages, medical coverage, pension benefits, and humane living conditions, as well as other rights and protections for hundreds of thousands of farm workers. Another person apart of the Hispanic community was Dolores Huerta. Huerta was a coordinator of nationwide lettuce, grape, and Gallo wine boycotts in the 1970s. Huerta helped create the national climate that led to the passage in 1975 of the Agricultural Labor Relations Act, the first law recognizing the rights of California farmworkers to bargain collectively. These are just two out of the countless Hispanics who have made an effort to make America a great nation.

I cannot find the name of the guy but on Monday you showed us a famous Hispanic composer who is very passionate about conducting and making music. Personally this person stood out to me the most as a musician so I want to try to write about him again I'm sorry I forgot the name and cant find him in the website. Music is a very beautiful and fundamental form of art, something I feel is very unappreciated in today's age. I feel this person helped shine light on the beauty and magic that music is and brings. One can only create amazing works of art and music if they are passionate enough. Music is a way to bring others close, to get away fro the negatives in this world. A safe and comforting place to make art. Music is a very impactful form of art, and I feel this individual brought it out more than anyone previously could. Like the McFarland movie, I feel being apart of a band can be somewhat therapeutic, you are creating a beautiful story, art with others around you, there is nothing more amazing than that. My point is I feel this director/conductor is an amazing person who helped people see the importance and significance of music.

Mexicans have also impacted the foods in America, for example, when you are in California, almost everywhere there are taco shops or some sort of Mexican Restaurant. Some people might be against Mexicans being in the US, but the Mexican people in the US make America the great country it is. Hispanics have made significant contributions to American culture, enriching the nation's identity with their hard work, traditions, and values. One powerful example is depicted in the movie McFarland, USA, which tells the story of a predominantly Latino high school cross-country team that overcomes challenges to achieve greatness. The movie highlights the dedication and resilience of Hispanic agricultural workers, who work tirelessly in the fields while still finding the strength to strive for excellence in other areas, like sports and education. The students in McFarland demonstrate a deep sense of community, family, and perseverance, which are central to Hispanic culture. Their journey emphasizes the importance of teamwork, the pursuit of dreams despite obstacles, and the drive to succeed through hard work. This reflects the broader impact of Hispanic immigrants on the nation: they contribute to the economy, build strong communities, and enrich the cultural landscape. Hispanic Americans have influenced American cuisine, music, art, and values, making the country more diverse and vibrant. Hispanics have made various contributions to American culture. Through the inspirational movie titled McFarland USA we as an audience can see and are shown multiple examples of these contributions. the movie consists of young Hispanic high schoolers who are given the opportunity to experience being on a team. Their coach was a white man who had sought to take this group of young men to the top through hard work and inspiration. The movies shows the hard work that Hispanics put into creating a great life for themselves as well as their family. The movie depicts the hardships these people have to face through the acts and service of picking fruits and vegetables in fields. They wake up in the early hours in the morning and work all day in the heat. They sacrifice their physical wellbeing to provide for their families and work very hard to do so they show very large drive and work ethic. Not only can these behaviors influence other members of the American nation but this work that they do provides for and benefits American citizens as a whole. The teams success and drive also was inspirational to other generations of young Hispanic people to come.

Hispanics are the very backbone to what the very essence of America is build upon. Hispanics migrated to this country for a better life and they had very little. Since they had so little they had to work harder than most, so they created a culture an a community of hard workers who built America into the great country it is. Hispanics are now in government and contribute greatly to both democrats and republicans. Hispanic people are in high rankings in all of America with some being senators and some high as supreme court justices. The hard working Hispanics of yesterday allow for the Hispanics of today to have the opportunity to be in these high ranking jobs. This is the great culture that Hispanics have shaped America into and left and everlasting impact on American society and culture. Not only did Hispanics create a hard working culture in the fields of agriculture and manual labor along with the culture of making change in government, but Hispanics also had an impact in science. After finishing the movie shown in class, I learned a lot more about Hispanic culture in 1987. Hispanics show great hospitality and are willing to take in others as part of their family. Hispanics worked very hard in the fields and for their labor they did not earn very much money. This movie showed that although many people have thought less of Hispanics, the team pushed through and proved that because of how hard they work they can do what they put their minds to. When it comes down to their community they are inclusive and embrace their culture in their food, music, and art. The families in the movie show Mr. White their tough love by doing what is right for him and his family even if he isn't used to it. In the movie McFarland, Hispanics are contributing by growing food and distributing it throughout EACH STATE. It is something that would be brand new to us and is hard labor. True perseverance. In the movie it shows Hispanics showing the White family how to do a quincenera, and how to learn how to make tamales. Hispanics contribute to America so much. Their culture is to bring others together and create a big family. I know at least in my family to bring others together even more we play games. Games like Loteria, Domino, and charades. Hispanics have made American culture a diverse one, whether it comes from music, food, labor, unity, etc. They are very hardworking people that work in jobs that other people wouldn't take due to dangerous conditions or long working hours. They're a big part of the economy as they become business owners and create jobs for others. Traditions are a big part of this culture, many do not take the chance they have here for granted along with not asking for help or handouts in order for them to accomplish what they have here for themselves. Tradition is a big part of why Hispanics are welcoming towards others and motivated to continue working, as they're proud of their accomplishments.

Hispanics I think had made a impacted americaa by bringing new food music dances to america, most importantly spanish. Where I live San Diego, a lot of hispanics are here, Matter of fact a lot of califonions are hispanic. 15.62 million hispanics are in california. 64.99 million in america. I for one is hispanic, I am dominican so hispanic culture I think is very important in the U.S of A. This nation has gotten stronger with hispanics. It is also hispanic hertiage month, hispanics has celebrations (holidays) that we still celebrate today in america, I should say dia de muertos, cico del miyo, holy week, day of virgin guadape, the list goes on and on. Did you know 28 hipsanics types in the world. There is even a country in africa that speaks spanish as well, Equtorail Guienna. But that does not have nothing to with america but it is also a good thing, or I should say fun fact about hispanics. Final Fact is there is 21 countries that speak spanish. Finally The Padres is going to beat Los angles Dodgers, who I exscpially thinks sucks. #BEAT LA!

The Hispanic farmed and picked many different crops such as corn, sugarcane, sorghum, wheat, tomatoes, bananas, chili peppers, oranges, lemons, limes, mangos, other tropical fruits, beans, barley, avocados, blue agave, coffee, beans, corn and sorghum. Over the Course of American history Hispanics have contributed to our society in a number of ways economically and culturally. For starters Hispanics for a long time and still to this way worked menial jobs such as working in fields to harvest produce. Work that for the most part and goes unrecognized in our daily lives. Hispanics communities have also provide culturally a large amount to our meals and modern music. In states such as California you would be challenged to not find a good taco place. many modern Hispanic artist from across the globe come to California as a place of cultural awareness. Hispanics as a people started as for the most part people under control of the larger Spanish empire now in the modern day they carry their own dialects leaving their own unique mark on the U.S.A One of the greatest artist of our modern time is the one and only Salvador Dali for his murals, films sculpts, and even a cook book. he had world wide recognition with his signature moustache making sure that Dali would leave a mark on history forever. someone else to take note of is Frida Kahlo and her patriotic and revolutionary artwork that expressed the experiences of women she would be remembered for many works depicting her own body that would speak on a introspective view of herself. without Hispanics art as we know it just would not be the same. Lets discuss politics. To this day Hispanics have held many important offices in American history without which would have shaped the country in a drastically different direction. Hispanics in office are important as this would allow them to tackle issues for Hispanics that that larger population may not be aware of. Overall without Hispanics the United states would be drastically different country. from our food, music, arts, and other factions of daily of life and frankly I am greatfull to live in the America I do now.

Some positive impacts that Hispanics have made to make America a great nation is a positive influence to our economy. Nearly two million Hispanics own businesses which means that generates more than $200 billion in revenue. Another thing they did was also introducing foods such as chocolate, peanuts, vanilla, beans, squash, avocado, coconuts, corn, and tomatoes. Those foods helped to feed Americans and allowed America to benefit from their export.
